Coffee Breaks and Bender Balls

Well the summer is over and now I’m back to the old routine. I haven’t decided if it’s easier to exercise day in and day out, or harder. I know during my long summer holiday I had my wife around 24/7, and she was a big help getting me to maintain a routine even though we were always on the go. Now that the days are getting cooler and shorter, I see my wife much less, and in many ways its harder to stay on top of my eating and exercise regimen. Luckily at work there is a large lounge where I can go for breaks and that is usually where I fit in about 10 minutes of crunches almost every day.

I actually bought another Bender Ball which I keep in the office. I like having one at home, too, in case its so hectic at work that I don’t even have ten minutes to exercise. Do you ever have days like that? If I miss my workout at the office, I almost certainly get 10 minutes of crunches at home. Wish me luck, my physical exam at the doctor is next week.

Bender Ball is About Health, Not Just Good Looks

I had an amazing summer, as you know. We traveled all over California. I especially loved Los Angeles, where the beaches were beautiful and everyone was young and thin. Well not everyone, but I felt really great, because since I’ve been using my Bender Ball, I don’t feel awkward, old or fat, even in a place like L.A. I don’t think I would’ve dared venture onto the beach in L.A. last summer. But I do want to tell you another thing. It is not just about how you look. I feel healthier and younger, really. Or maybe I should say, I feel exactly how someone my age should feel, and not old, sluggish and fat, which is how I used to feel. I have a doctor’s appointment scheduled in a few weeks from now, and I know my cholesterol will be lower. How can it not? I weigh 15 pounds less than I did at my last physical. And I really think a lot of my success has been achieved because Bender Ball has made exercise so easy for me.
